Teaching
|
I love to teach music as a living, creative art form. I'm able to give lessons on composition & alto saxophone.
Composition lessons engage with current developments in music around the world at a high level, suitable if you’d like to challenge yourself to incorporate new ideas into your songwriting or composition, or if you or your child would like to learn to make music in a way that encourages you to explore your own voice. Topics can include:
This can be coupled with more conventional approaches to ear training, harmony & counterpoint, voice-leading, orchestration, etcetera. I charge $80/hour. The rate is negotiable for those experiencing financial hardship or structural disadvantages. |
